I prefer highlighted hair, but I prefer to have more than 1 color or shade of highlight!

I like one uniform color, thats dimensional. A good hairdresser should be able to achieve this. Also try using John Frieda's line of hair-color based products. They really bring out the color. To me, highlights are so hard to get perfect, and even if they are. I think they are just unnatural looking!!

A cool alternative to highlights are lowlights because a person's haircolor is rarely the same shade. Lowlights aren't as tacky as lets say brunette hair with blonde highlights. Lowlights are natural and very sexy. I suggest going 2 shades darker than you natural color.

I say if your going to put highlights in it then make them suttle. Natural is a more attractive look but sometimes everyone needs a change but if you have black hair dont put white/blonde highlights in...
GOOD LUCK

For me, one color. I thought about the highlight thing once and realized that the only multi-color thing I accept is clothing.

if you get one uniform color, it is obvious that it's not natural
--everyone has natural highlights
---no matter what i always say get highlights, it gives dimension and looks more natural

i like hair that has tons of highlights, so i gives it depth, but from far away it looks one color.

i like highlights as long as it's not like your hair is pitch black and you have white blond streaks in it.
if your hair is like a light brown, goldish (not blonde) highlights will look good. it will make your natural hair color brighter and add more of and goldish hue to it.
