Well, I'm not the first answer but I am still going to answer it, I didn't have any advice going into my teen years, (I am now almost 14) but I have a lot of morals and so I am getting along just fine.
1. Do not have sex until you are married!
2. Don't try drugs, smoking, or alcohol, no matter what!
3. Never put yourself in a position that you shouldn't be in, like getting in the backseat with a boy.
4. Don't go to any parties you know there will be alcohol or anything like that at.
5. Get involved with a Youth Group if you aren't already, because they will really help you through your teen years.
6. Have fun! You're only a teenager once...just make sure you don't go to far with your fun.

Be whatever you want to be, but be the best at what you do.

Never settle for second best until the race is over...then run a new race.

Most of all, don't listen to career advice from other teenagers. Make an appointment to talk with your counselor at school more often than you have to go already.

Be patient
Always have hope
Always be humble: pride kills in the end.

Set reasonable goals. Think for yourself, don't be a follower and don't let people talk you into something you wouldn't do on your own. Don't be compelled to jump into intamacy and an involved relationship right in the beginning, get to know the person well enough to know ALL of their quirks and "nasty" habits and whether you could stand to live with them for the rest of your life first.

The best advice I got as a teen was "Don't do anything to get yourself pregnant or give you AIDS." It was very good advice!

Just be careful what you wish for, do good in school, find some good friends that won't drag you down :)
