I dont think it's because Kevin threatened to test her hair for drugs- if it was that, she wouldn't have left it all at the salon! Plus you can use body hair for that.
I think it's one of two things- first being that her hair was just f**ked from the extensions and the dye. It would have been so weak from the years worth of extensions it probably was starting to thin (this does happen to most girls who have them too long) plus she was dying it black. It probably couldn't have taken the bleach job required to get it back to her natural colour, the only solution would be to shave it off. I know someone who was in this position once and that's what she did! She just shaved it off and started afresh!
Or... and I'm surprised no one else seems to have thought of this... maybe she was on a major drug trip, hallucinating? A hallucination can cause all kinds of messed up scenarios where by someone might end up doing something totally bizarre. She might have seen her hair on fire, or seen her hair with a bunch of rats in it, or something like that.

I think she feels that maybe she doesn't want to be a celeb anymore since it is ruining her as she tried to be perfect...so she went the other way. She is doing whatever she can do be "unperfect" so that she can get what she wanted and be famous that way. Maybe she thinks it will put her were she wants to be: away from all the stress and craze of bing famous. Or maybe it's like all the People mags and them say...she is letting lose after all her stress with having two kids and the fight for custody. I think if it is none of the above: the way of the celeb does crazy stuff to humans.

i must admit i read somewhere she shaved her hair as her ex was going to get her tested for drugs.
To be honest, i do feel for her, a single mum with 2 kids, under the spotlight all the time. Yes she's going to make mistakes, we all do (i have made plenty) she's young, she never leaves the kiddies alone whilst out drinking.
i think its a cry for help as she is frightened to loose her babies to Kevin, all the stress is driving her nuts. i know if my hubby was saying he wanted full custody of my daughter i think i would go a little nuts!
I think she should take ea little time out, go somewhere for a few weeks with her family to relax away from the public eye.

I've heard the lame excuse that she had nits and that her hair extensions were causing her hair to fall out. I think that's rubbish. It's more psychological and shows her exact state of mind. She obviously has issues and need to see a therapist.

the poorgirl.. with peopple following her every move!! No wonder she is going psycho!! it's no ones business!! Granted it was a bad choice and I can't wait til her gorgeous blonde locks grow back!!... she was just making a statement.. LEAVE HER ALONE!

i heard that she didn't want to have her hair taken for a drug test to see if she took drugs so she buzzed all of it off so they can't drug test her. (at least by taking some hair, that is).

My God, that Kid is so messed up, she hasn't had a childhood, she has been a "celeb" since she was little, and now poor bugger has finally snapped, she needs help!

maybe she got so pissed and shaved it. thinking it was her front bottom or maybe she looked in the mirror and thought i look like a c**t so why not shave it.
