Being bulimic can actually make you put on weight. Because you make yourself sick your body doesnt get the things it needs to make it work properly. So when you do eat your body goes into starvation mode and stores as much as it possibly can from the food you gave it. This will make you put on weight rather than lose it.

I had a problem with bulimia myself and it's a difficult thing to overcome. I still to this day get a slight urge to make myself sick after eating, especially if it was something particulally bad. I also get the urge when i get very upset. I've worn away the enamal on my teeth and I get stomach problems and indigestion almost everytime I eat.

It might make some people thin, it just depends on how much and what they binge on when they do binge. It never helped me and now I have a very unhealthy attitude towards food. Not a good thing to have, believe me.

no it doesnt have much effect because you have to eat to be sick and as others have said many people who are bulmic binge before they make themselves sick and therefore some of this calories are still taken in. Don't do it, its a cycle that is nearly impossible to break and it doesn't do much to your weight really.
