I have a few people in my wedding that I'd like to honor (i.e. those who are not family but are helping me out a lot.) I just can't afford more flowers, what could I have them wear (if anything) that people would see they are being honored?

maybe a nice cross pin or something that means something to you and that would be special for them to recieve or even instead of corsages you just gave them a single flower handed to them i hope everything works out for you and congrats on your wedding best of luck to you

Go to Costco or somewhere and buy a dozen or so roses in you wedding colors, and a little green filler stuff. THen go to walmart or a craft store, i.e. Michaels and get corsage pins and florists' tape. Then, cut the rose so the stem is only about 3" long. Attach some greenery, stick them together by wrapping the florists; tape and then use 2 pins to pin to the jacket, dress or blouse of those people you want to honor. This will only cost about $30. And it's not that hard either.

If you are very, very tight on your budget you could get some tulle and tie a bow and let those people wear a white tulle bow. Try one and see if you like the look of it.

If you have a little room in your budget, you could buy some off ebay for a pretty reasonable price - I put a couple of links for you to check out.

Another option is to buy boutonnieres (which are much less expensive) and add a tulle bow to them.

Hope it helps - I did the same thing for all my fabulous helpers, but I just used the extra flowers I had from the wedding bouquets I made so they all matched.

Congrats, good luck & have lots of fun!!!

Isn't a small corsage like 15 dollars? I think that's really the least expensive item you can get everyone. Or, just get them a small token gift (with a nice card!) and give it to them before the wedding day as a thank you. Either will be appreciated.
