Also i will be having a stop over of abt 2 hrs at frankfurt..will i be allowed to carry these liquor bottles in my carry bag?

Yes they do, all you need is your passport and international ticket so you can purchase it, its better to get it from the Duty Free at the airport so you won't have to pay taxes.

Duty-Free shops carry tequila.

You didn't mention what your final destination was.

Most of the time during a connection, you will have to place liquid duty free items inside of a checked bag to be rechecked to your final destination, as they are allowed onboard only on the initial flight you take after purchase.

Check with the air carrier you are flying on to be sure.

They do but not very good, you are better of buying in town if you can...

Some good 100% blue agave Tequilas are Tesoro and Casa Noble

Don't get the cheap stuff no good

They will not let you carry them on, you need to pack them in your suitcase.

I do not hink you will be allow to carry it on. Before you buy anything be sure to check. might be eaiser and cheeper just to ship a couple of bottles of high quality stuff .
