When I try to go to the On Demand menu with Comcast digital Cable, an error box pops up, saying the following:

"Communications error. Please try again. If the problem continues, please call your cable operator."

I don't know what could be causing this, because yne day i tried to get on On Demand, but it didn't work.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Oh, also, do you have to pay for On Demand, because my wife may have canceled it when she went on a rampage and deleted all the channels that SHE didn't watch...

when you get a error message like"communication error" this is a couple of things, most of the time it is a bad fitting, where braid is showing or a electrician fitting which has suck out, this may be caused behind the wall etc, it is a signal issue that is easily corrected if you have the right compression tools, i would recommend you call a tech out who has the proper equipment

hope this helps

I have On Demand.

You can keep trying later. If it still does not come up, call Comcast.

You don't have to pay for On Demand itself. It is free with your digital cable. However, you do have to pay for some of the movies and events on there that are not free. Some things are free, some are not.

Try turning off/unplugging the cable box for about a minute and then turn it back on. If it still dosen't work, call the cable co. to see if there are outages. On Demand costs depend on which market you are in for cable. I used to live somewhere where it was free w/a digital package. I now live where I pay about 5 bucks w/a digital package. If you had it, I doubt that it could be manually deleted from home.
