My friends and i are wondering why some guys dont show much attention as they use to after the girl they like starts being sweet to them.

Because half of the thrill is in the persuit. Once he's got you, the thrill of the persuit is over. AND, because the poor sap may not know what to do next!

Because for men it's as simple as pacifying our own fragile egos. We like a girl, and the second she likes us back (or gives it up to us), we've gotten what we really wanted. Which is to know that we are desirable. Disgusting really, but then women use makeup for the exact same reason.

it's funny that you say that because I always thought it was the other way around. Maybe it just has to do with being challenged..whether you are female or male.
