I'm a tough woman. I don't put up much with the male ego. I'm late 40's and greek. (greek spartan that is!) Any guy up to the challenge?

I don't try to out male my man. I grew up in a strict way with typical male attitude that the male rules in whatever. And I married a typical male. I'm greek canadian born. I am another individual who also has rights to my own way, view, etc. and no man will ever take that away from me. I do love a strong masculine man though. And in turn he will have a very loyal and loving woman who will willingly follow him to the ends of the earth. Good points from all thanks and Take loving care.

Funny that you say that you don't put up with the male ego, but have you considered your own? What is it about masculinity that you don't like?

Judging by your age, I'd guess that you were raised during the grotesque mockery of the Sacred Feminine that was the Women's Lib. movement. Trying to out "male" your man is never a good way to get a high quality man to be by your side.

I have no problems with a tough woman. In fact, I would respect one very much. However, toughness devoid of femininity in a woman is seldom attractive, except to men who think a harsh mistress is the key to a good life.

How would I handle you? I'd try to show you that my ego is no threat to you. Everyone has an ego, and its the blending of different egos that makes a relationship worthwhile. I'd try to show you that I love you in spite of my weakness, and that I'd care for you even when I fail. That's what the "Male Ego" is all about, really: doing what he has to do for the woman he loves in spite of the fact that he doesn't measure up to the men in his mind (usually his father and grandfathers).

I wish you the best of luck, Ms. Spartan. May you find a man who's ego meshes with your own.

I'd handle you by keeping you in the "friend" zone. Personally, I don't much go for the "tough" woman. I've got all the challenges I need at work, don't want it socially or at home.

That's just me, though.

This won't be your favorite answer, but it's truthful. I'd probably tell you nicely that ours is a partnership, not a dictatorship, and if you didn't learn from that hint, I'd slam the door in your face!

you sound like a real spark plug but i'd probably be too eccentric for you. i don't really have an atypical male ego, but i am quite egotistic about my art.
