Buy a nice curtin rod. Hang it from the screws not the brackets. so it is close to the wall. Hang photos in frames below the rod at different levels. Attach a small piece of chain to each nail and wrap around rod. This end up looking like the pictures are hanging from the rod. I used a black rod, black chains and black frames with white mattes surrounding b&w photos. Everyone loves it.

I have seen room dividers covered in fabric - or just painted - and photos attached and arranged in a collage. You could also use other items - an old window frame mounted on the wall, an iron grate, part of a picket fence on the wall, a piece of driftwood, etc. to hold your photos. The display piece, as well as the photos, would be a conversation piece.
You could also arrange them in a collage pattern on a coffee table or end table topped with glass.

We buy those large poster like frames, anywhere from 8x10 to 16x20 and make a collage of the pictures...a lot of them can be cropped down, so you cut the pictures into different size squares/rectangles and then I also type a cool quote in a nice font and paste it on there. It makes a really nice display. I've also re-prinited the pictures and decopaged stuff. It's super fun and easy and you can make all kinds of cool things!

I have started playing with a program called ULead.
This lets you put music and load as many pictures as you want onto a dvd disk.
Then when you just want something in the background you can look at all your pics though your (large screen Plasma) or tv.
It gives a different dimention. Like a screen saver.

Pottery Barn has some awesome ideas, and products for showing off your photos. Pile them in a cute dish on the coffee table so you can look through them whenever you want. Bulletin boards are also fantastic!
God Bless!

I like to be able to handle my photos and pass them around when reminiscing with friends and family. For Christmas I was given a standing rack that looks like an old postcard stand - it even turns - and it's sized for photos. I love it! I can "rotate" my photos in more ways than one!
If this interests you, it came from Pottery Barn. I looked on their website and there's a table-top model too.

Scrapbook them!!! Not only they are pretty to look at but you can add in journalling to make those pages and photos tell a story. It's also a very addictive hobby and the reward you get from scrapbooking is tremendous. Trust me...you will not regret it.

I used rectangular cooling racks for cakes and stuff...I hung them on the wall (3) and we put the pics corner to corner behind the litlle slats and change them at will...love them I also heard of using wire and hanging pics from them weighting each corner so they stay straight...good luck
