I'm a sophmore in hs and there is this freashman girl in my study hall. I kinda like her and I don't know what to do to become friends with her. I want to find out who she really is to see if I like her or not, but I do know that she is funny, smart and cute, and one of my friends says she is a really nice person. Pretty much, I want to get to know her better without making anything obvious.
P.S; I am REALLY shy around girls that I like that I'm not friends with and I kind of have rep. for being a "redneck" @ my school, idk if thats a good thing or not. I'm really not a bad guy though.
Another thing, would a freashman feel kind of intimidated by a sophmore.......I NEED HELP!!!

well one thing is for sure don't just walk up to her. start out slow. and if your shy practice on maybe a friend or idk dress your pillow up and pretend its the girl. think of things to say to her before you say it, before you walk up to her acually. if people say shes nice then you be nice. and also try to find something you have in common girls love it when boys have something in common with them. just don't fake it it has to be real. good luck!

Just start up a conversation with her. I know it's clique, but don't be something you aren't. You must know something about her, use that to start talking. I'd try music, or something everyone likes. Make sure you don't just burst in with a one liner or some lame crap like that, she'll think you're lame and won't want anything to do with you. If that doesn't work get to her through a mutual friend. There has to be some connection somewhere, and ask them to set you up. I don't think a sophomore would be intimidated by a sophomore. If anything, that should help your case, unless shes prude, and then you shouldn't be talking to her to begin with. Most of all keep eye contact and be sure of yourself. Get over your shyness and she'll be yours.

Its cute if your shy, trust me, I'm shy too. Just be nice to her and since Easter is almost sorta here you can give her chocolate, a stuffed animal, (aww) or candy hearts. Be nice and talk to her, thats the key. And no its not intimidating, definitly not.

People dont read minds plus it will improve your self esteem to just "ask" her. Your not w/ her now and if she says no you're still not w/ her. What do you have to lose? Beating around the bush is like going down the steps of a swimming pool insted of just jumping in. Dont torture yourself. You're better than that. Good Luck.

Just introduce yourself to her...she'll prolly be excited that a sophmore is trying to get to kno her. Since you kno shes a freshman use that to ur advantage and say something 'like if anyone messes with you let me kno'..and just be friendly from there. When you see her at lunchtime ask her if she wants anything from the store or even ask her if she would like to go with you.

well I'd just go up to her and ask if she needs anything..... like you said she's in your study hall right.... so if she is doing any work just go up to her and ask hey do you need any help?? and if she says no just say well if you ever do need anything.... I'll be glad to help. i mean I'm a girl and i lost count of how many guys did that to me so it works on most girls GOOD LUCK!! and if you don't really know an answer to the question she asks you just do as well as you can... if when you ask her do you need any help and she says yea and you don't know what the answer is.... like i said do the best you can GOOD LUCK!!!

Hang out with her. Like for example, in study hall if she needs help, help her. And any other situations with partners or something, ask her nicely. Get to know her. Maybe if she gets to know you, she'll see you in a different way.

hey man, relax. all you have to do is say hi and give her a compliment, then just walk away. that way, she won't think that your hitting on her and it won't make things look obvious. you'll be on her mind all day. that way she'll want to talk to you more. you'll be friends and then you can take it from there. don't worry about your reputation, just show her the real you. if she gets to know the real you, then she won't care what other people say about you or your reputation.

The first thing you should do is try to talk to her about anything. Then see how she acts. You will be able to tell if you have a chance then. If she isn't nice you don't want to be with her anyways.
