14 is a great age to have a boyfriend. Just be a good girl and don't do things you are too young for. No sex or anything else that's illegal. That's what parents worry most about. If your boyfriend is a good guy he'll care about whether your folks like and trust him. Also he'll care about you not getting in trouble when you get home. If he doesn't he's not to be trusted. Keep it light and happy and don't go taking it too seriously. Once you are trusted to go somewhere with a boyfriend it will be up to your judgment as to whether you remain a person you can be proud of.

A good age would be 18 because SOME guys are more mature then lol. But ppl can't wait that long these days (well i'm 17 lol). But at 14, guys are just learning about things and most ppl at that age are "finding themselves".

You should decide when you want a boyfriend. Many people at my school are young and have boyfriends. They're happy as can be!
