Theres a new guy at work he follows he calls me over talks and flirts with me he plays around and all we do is laugh but i think im starting to like him ....How can i tell if hes just a flirt or really starting to like me ???

Well, that he does all of that should be a clear message that he likes you already -- guys don't tend to do all that with gals they have no interest in.

See u r in a good position. U work with this cat so u get to see him alot more than most people get to see the girls/guys that they are interested in. The most important thing for u to do in order to find out whether he is a flirt or whether he is interested is look around u. Do u see him flirting with other women in the building? Do u see him attempt to be the charismatic "life of the party" type of guy in the building. If the answer to either of these is yes then it's very likely that he is just flirting with u for fun. However, it never hurts to go a step further. Why don't u pay attention to the way that he behaves when he is around u. There r some key differences between someone who is flirting and someone who is really interested. People who flirt tend to seem like they already have things mapped out. That's because they do it all of the time and have been through the situations before with other girls/guys. It's all just recycling one liners and witty banter for them. People who really like u are always more engaged because they legitimatly want to know what u mean and want to be able to respond with a sincere answer. If u still can't figure it out after looking at these things then maybe u should just ask him and tell him how u feel.

You just have to wait things out and see if he carries this any further. Make sure he isn't just out for one thing if he does. If he really likes you he would probably have a good conversation going, not so much the flirting, approach you differently than he would the others. I personally would not want to date a guy whom I see flirting with other girls, because he will be like that when you're together.

Do activites with him outside of work as well, he may no have made a pass at you yet because you are in the workplace. Good ole sexual harrassment policies suck dont they? Or, he may value your friendship and might be scared to make the first move fearing for the friendship.

Get to know him better until the initial fun wears off. THen you will know for sure. Just take it slow. You will start to see how he really is after a month or two.
