Other than twins, everyone I've met looks different. Which one of us represents God's image? How can it be that all of us do?
Does God have a face? If not, how are we in God's image?

You missed the point.

God is to man as man is to photograph.

Jesus compared man to sheep.

God is to man as man is to sheep.

Without the Holy Spirit you, and I, are about as smart and capable as a photograph or a sheep.

Great question- notice that it's not what we physically look like that is our God-image. It's more about our soul- the fact that we have another part of us that is different than all other animals on this planet. It says that God breathed into Adam and Eve- making them different than everyone else. That is the imprint that God has on our lives as humans. We're self-reflective and we think about things like eternity. These are God-given desires. We love and care about others- these are small parts of who God is- D.N.A. imprints that are still in every human that remind us that there is a God.

That is a really good question.

Where it says, "in our image," it means the freedom to choose. That we have a free choice to serve God or turn away from Him. The angels were created to worship God, and they don't have a choice(although they love what they do), but we do have a choice. We are not puppets. He could have made us puppets, but He didn't.

That was a really good question, though. =D

Dear Sara, The tsement that we were made in gods Image dosent mean that we look exactly like God. it means that we are his imgae bearers, he has made us to know him and to represent him. Thats why when we lie. steal, lust and blaspheme his name we sin against God and slure his name. thats why God is so angry at sin. The BIble says we are seperated from God because of our transgression of the law, but Jesus christ died for our sins to reconcille us to God. the wrath of God was poured out upon Jeus instead of you. if you repent and turn from sin, you wil be forgiven and granted everlasting life.
God Bless

We are not identical images of God.
We are only images of God. And he is all around us.

His image is about personality more than physical attributes. We all have imagination and creativity.
