Bear your testomony and bear it often; testify of Christ and His atoning sacrifice; testify of His ressurrecction and His institution of the sacrament; testify of the things you know to be true and allow the Holy Ghost to manifest these things to those who enquire of you. Pray often.

No,that is not the definition.
James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. That's fine! The demons also believe that, and they tremble with fear"
Now,I'm not saying that Mormons are demons, but I was just pointing out the fallacy of that definition.
We are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 :"Test everything. Hold on to the good."
Acts 7:11:"Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."
Mormons believe in things that are very unbiblical, and even contradict the Bible. For example,Mormons believe that God used to be a man on another planet,He has a goddess wife,He
has an actual flesh-and-bones body,He and His wife have spirit children,Jesus and Lucifer are brothers,Jesus married and had children, all people have the potential to
become gods. They believe in baptism for the dead, celestial marriage, and when you reach a god status, you inherit your own planet to control.
That contradicts the Bible, and goes against the teachings.Mormonism is not a Christian church, even though you believe in Jesus. Now,I have nothing against Mormons. You are nice people, very nice.I know a few.But I cannot call Mormons Christians.

Most of them have heard strange things about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or take things out of context. I see one answerer mentioned "The Godmakers" which is full of strange ideas - I know because I used to know the Institute teacher who wrote the book which refuted everything in that. Some people think we do not believe in Jesus Christ as divine, which is somehow more like the Muslim or Jewish way of thinking. Nothing could be farther from the truth, of course, as we do indeed believe that Jesus Christ was divine, the Son of God, the Savior of the World. I think we have the honors class of Christianity, but there are of course honors students in every religion around the world. Not only do we have the privilege of studying the Bible, but also the Book of Mormon and writings of modern-day prophets. If your friends don't think you're Christian, simply show them by your example that you really are. Have a happy day, and I send you a virtual gummy bear.

First of all Catholics believe in Christ, that doesn't make you Catholic. Christian believe that there are only two books, new and old testiments. Mormons believe in the Book Of Mormon following the new testiments. Christians believe that it is false. With out it being so complicated. You are Mormon. Not Christian. I was raised Christian and my husband was raised Mormon and I learned alot about the religion over time, one of the things I learned is that Mormons are more truly dedicated to their religion as well as their families. Growing up I tried to do the right thing and go to church (Chrisitan - non-denominational) and found so many to be hypocryts. Believe with your heart and follow what you feel to be right. If you believe in prayer... pray for direction.

Because they have been filled with erroneous information and are disrespectful.

If you read many of the above answers you will see much of the erroneous stuff that is out there. But, when it comes down to it, it is religion, and no religion is going to be proved by worldly means/evidence. Religion is primarily based on faith and one's interpretation of information. People argue the Mormon faith contradicts the Bible, but it could easily be said those other religions does likewise. People who try to tear down someone's faith do so because they are either insecure in their own faith, are disrespectful, are ignorant, or just full of hatred. We all need to be respectful of all people regardless of their beliefs. Religion is an individual matter. If you have educated yourself, you have prayed, and you believe what you do, then all power to you.

I do know Mormons believe Christ is the cornerstone of their religion and that no man will be saved except through His atonement. Keep on keepin' on.

Dude, you're a Christian! Many "christians" dont understand what they dont know. Mormons are just as christian as baptist and the rest of them. Are theology may be different, but its still the same. Besides, when you see a list of Christians, you see all the religions of christianity with mormons in there, you dont see a separate column for mormons do you? rock on brotha, you're a mormon!!!! Also, the Book of Mormon is not adding to the Bible. Besides if the scripture really meant that we could not add anymore scripture, then there would be no more bible after deuteronomy, for that same scripture is in that book as well. The scripture means to not add mans beliefs and opinions to gods word. the book of mormon is god's word! Dont believe what your friends tell them, show them you'rea christian! God bless brother!

The Mormon's are Christian and some of the best in the World. The Missionaries are wonderful and are exposed to some of the worse. You are 100 % accurate. Some people who claim to be Christian fall short. Keep up your faith. I am not a Mormon, but have learned so much from the Missionaries. I have Great Respect for the Mormon Faith.

Why do you care what your friends say, only you know what you believe. No one has the right to tell someone if they are Christian or not, only God will judge.

Mormon doctrine contradicts Christian doctrine. They believe in many Gods, while Christians believe that there is only one God and His personality is three dimensional, Son, (the express Word of God that created the universe) Father, (because of his intolerance of sin, sent his Son to pay for the sins of man) Holy Spirit (One in whom we live and move and have our being.)

But Mormonism is a cult of Christianity because it claims that YOU can became a god if you work for it. Do not let anyone lie to you. You are not a Christian and do not have salvation until you get the REAL Jesus, not Joseph Smith's demonic perversion of him.

I believe that christians are just Christ's followers. They believe he is God's son and that he loves them and is the way to salvation...the ONLY way to salvation. I don't know what you believe, but if you believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and that he loves you and wants to know you and be with you, then you are a christian.
