If i don't have food in my hand she doesn't want anything to do with me.
But if I do have food she wags her tail and trys to lick me
She doesn't get the food each time she does that so why does she keep on whining for food.

She loves you all the time, she just gets excited when you have food.

Because you treat it like a person and not a dog. Give it some space and yourself some space and try to find "animal neutrality" so the animal understands its responsibilities and so do you. Don't let it lick you or breathe on you, that is for its own species, serious, thats what I think.

Because while dogs are sometimes called 'loyal' animals they are not really wired for too many emotions. In fact, they respond to their basic needs like food. If you feed her and take her for walks and play with her she will eventually respond to you more.

a dog will love youunconditionally with or without food difference is she chooses not to show this when you have no food
