Personally, I think if you buy a good one you shouldn't have any problems, but they have thier place. Alot of the fixtures in my home I couldn't even use them because they are on dimmer switches. You can't "dim" a flourescent bulb.

I would think that is unusual, but I have noticed that some spiral fluorescent bulbs have cautions not to use them in enclosed fixtures, especially higher wattage bulbs (like 150 watt equivalent bulbs)

confident, definitely. i became 13 while an outlet from 1937 burst into flames. I pushed my mattress into it, smothering out the hearth. so, i became this variety of hero. we replaced the opening, and something of the 70 year previous shops later that day. I just about burned down my dorm "ordinary" mac in a microwave. I positioned it in for 13:00 as a replace of a million:30. yeah... hearth alarm at 2AM. everybody in Norton residing house enjoyed me that night.
