Religion is a wonderful thing, its great to have something to believe in. The problem arrives when folks try to enforce their beliefs on others. This is how all the wars and hatred come from in the world, NOT the religion itself.

I am not going to tell you what my beliefs are, and would not dis respect yours. We will all KNOW the real answer when we get there, there will be loads saying, I told you so!!!! lol Most of the main religions have been written, re-written again and again, slightly navigated to different leaders preference and advantages..... They might as well be saying if you don't join our club you ain't our friend....how sad is that! WHO are they to judge? Only God may do that.
I strongly suggest you look for some NEW REAL friends, and may YOUR God go with you x

Yes I think it's rude.

Doesn't it annoy you when people answer your question, and then tell you that you're going to Hell anyway? Then again I suppose it's better than those who don't even bother answering... they just start preaching.

Tell your friends that if they don't want to accept you for what you are, and continue to criticize your beliefs, you will find other people to hang out with. I am an Atheist and I hang out with both believers and non-believers. We get along because we don't judge each other, and respect the fact that we are entitled to believe what we want.

No, telling the truth is not rude, telling a lie is rude. The fact is all people that are not born again according to Acts 2:38 will be lost. Most people just lie about the truth, they don't want to hurt any ones feelings, but hell is not going to be a cake walk.

Well if your "friends" are telling you that you are going to hell for any reason i would recon cider their "friendship" ..... This lady and her family, who basically raised me and my brother, told me almost every day that i was going hell for one reason or another.... I'm sorry but I'm not religious....but doesn't it say somewhere that we are all God's children??? Why do i have to go to hell just because i listen to Gun's n' Roses? Maybe that's where i want to be then if Axial and Slash are going to be there.. I don't want to spend eternity with some stuffy partypoopers any way..... So I think it is very rude... and you should ask them ...Who got sacrificed and made them St.Peter? Ha HA Ha... (im not trying to offend anyone but it defeats the purpose and the idea when someone else tell you how your going to spend all eternity)

None of us know for sure. We know there is a hell, becasue Jesus tells us this. Actually, Jesus mentions hell more often then he mentions heaven.

But as to who is going to be there...that is only up to God. Only God knows the heart of a person and their soul.

It does say that the only way to heaven is through Jesus. But when you talk to Bible Christians you are getting their interpretation and that is subject to their personal way of thinking. Therefore it's not really an interpretation for all.

The Pope says that people who do not know the truth because they truly do not understand, can be saved. It's people who know the truth and reject it that are going to hell. That's a big difference.

This doesn't mean people who are told the truth but people who know it and understand it...and then reject it.

So, your only responsibility is to pray for revelation and faith, know that you are a sinner in need of salvation, read the Bible and find out what the truth really is.

Of course it is rude!

Your friend is a fool, and not much of a Christian if he/she cannot forgive you for having different beliefs!

So there!

If there is a heaven and a hell, then I am sure that 'good' people go to heaven and 'bad' people go to hell - not people who don't believe in a particular god or a particular aspect of a religion!

I'm going to get off my high horse now - can anyone pass me a ladder?

Of course it's rude.

Even if you firmly believe it, you have to realize that it is just your belief and believing something does not make it truth.

So telling people that if they don't, in essence, believe as you do they will go to hell is rude no matter how you try to pretty it up with stories of train tracks or whatever.

Yes, I'm a christian and it is very rude to tell people that. The only thing they should do is ask you if you want their opinion on the Lord. If you do, great! but if not then that is your choice!

If the opportunity came up I would do the same thing but, I would not harp on it. Once you have told someone in a friendly manner, then your obligation is done and then it is up to the Holy Spirit. You say this like it is a curse but, do you know how many people are in Hell that wish someone would have told them and how many more people there are there that wished they would have paid more attention.

First off you are not supposed to judge people. The Lord is the only person who can say that.It is not your place nor purpose to judge someones life after death. And you need to be more concerned with your relationship with Jesus than what other people think about nonsense questions like that.Read the Bible and it will supply you with everything you need.God Bless.

P.S.-I am not being mean. I know what I believe in and am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in.
