First (ignoring the premise itself, which may or may not be true), there's a logical problem. You might as well ask: If beautiful people eat food, is George Bush beautiful?
Depending on your leanings, this may be a bad example.

No. He was a man. Never claimed to be anything but a man. Died in 1986.
Got a lot accomplished in his lifetime and was, among many other things, the founder of Scientology and Dianetics.
People that join it, or use it or study it, do so because it works and helps them . It also makes them able to help others, which is more important actually.
The power comes from understanding life and the abilty to improve it and that belongs to anyone truely looking .
Actually I didn't know that Gods get their power from their followers........ where'd you get that idea from?
