Start doing crunches for your stomach and upper body workout (triceps, biceps, shoulders) for your arms. I don't know if you'll be completely buff by then, but there will be an improvement in tone. You don't say how tall you are, but at 114 pounds, there can't be too much fat...(unless you're 4 fee tall) Another thing is to try and find a really cute one piece bathing suit with high cut legs. That will mask your stomach at least. And just one last thing to think about. Just as you are worried about how you're going to look. Everyone else is worried about how *they're* going to look!

Wow, you specifically said that if one is going to tell you not to do anything then not to answer. I thought it redundant, and couldn't imagine why one would do so and there it was. I'm very sorry for what must have been all of your previous experiences here. Now I'll answer your question.

114 isn't a lot, like you said, and you have specific target areas, which is good for you. So there's two parts to cover, the first is diet changes, and the second is exercise.

What you want to get in your diet is super high fiber, high complex carbohydrate foods with very, very few calories.

First rule: No processed Sugars!
No matter how much you love them or "need your chocolate" or any of that, it has been shown time and time again that unstable blood sugar can lead to weight gains. And basic carbs turn into sugar rather quickly, complex carbs don't, this is why Atkins works, but is inferior and uselessly harmful to the body, but that's another answer all together.

However, you don't want to miss out on protein. For breakfast you may consider a few egg whites, apples, basically any vegetable, and so on. I would try to avoid fruit juices for the blood sugar spikes, and actually eat the whole thing. Drink water, and if you aren't getting enough protein or vit. d/calcium, a glass of milk daily might not hurt.

Eat snacks in the middle of meals, but keep them good and small, an apple, a handfull of broccoli, etc.

Lunchtime, eat something basic, a tuna sandwich, or a chicken breast sandwich, or a romain or spinach leaf salad with a lean meat. Lots of options, and do something similar for dinner

Second rule: Do not eat anything and drink only water within 3 hours of going to sleep. It sucks, but it's pertinent.

Now for exercises. The stomach is easy, get on your back and start doing crunches. Don't hurt yourself so you can't do them for days, but definately get a good burn. You have to be the judge of what's best for you. I would do them every other day if you can.

Arms are pretty easy, get light weights, and I mean light, not 15 lbs, hell probably not even 5 lbs. Light light weights. Here's some ideas for the arms.

Also try to get some sort of good workout, run a couple times a week, or even go on a long bike ride, or sit on an exercise bike in the living room for 45 minutes a couple times weekly. This type of exercise will help your metabolism a LOT.

And despite what you may hear, don't let your body go too long without food, but just cut the calories of the food. When I lost all of mine and cut to train, I was eating a lot, but only taking in 1200 calories daily. If you're in school still, you can probably eat a whole lot more than that with your metabolism though. I was 21. Being hungry is not part of this though. A bag of romain lettuce, half a pack of chicken, and whatever dressing you like is still only netting you 200-300 calories, remember that.

And remember not to look at pounds on a scale. When you work muscle groups, and build any muscle, it weighs 3 times as much as fat. So you could weigh exactly 114 the whole time and look a million times better. Unlikely that you won't lose a few of those pounds, but possible.

Last thing, NO ARTIFICIAL SUGAR! I said it before, but cannot stress how important this is.

Best luck!

Read this book, The 7-Minute Miracle: The Breakthrough Program to Banish Spot Fat Forever, by Dr. Sheldon Levine.

He has some exercises that you can use to get rid of fat in your problem areas. You don't need any machines or special equipment to do the exercises and it only takes 7 minutes a day!

I am currently using his techniques as part of my daily workout.

- well for starters you sound like youre still at school - not college uni - your age could depend on your body fat being puppy fat (puberty), at your age PLEASE no drastic dieting or else you could end up with complications later in life, including severe stretchmarks because your body is adjusting and growing and developing at this crucial time in your life and being starved of elastin and collegan stores to make healthy skin now (dr told my friend this) ..anyway, WHAT REALLY works is to drink water and maybe cut down on white bread and white pasta as these things tend to bloat instead eat wholemeal as these have all the good stuff in (unlike the white which has it all taken out) do some running and sit ups - or if thats really boring then DANCE LOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADS or bounce on a trampoline if you have one - or could you be pre-mestrual in which case take vit b6 .....

Start jogging or something that doesn't require a machine... Do sit-ups and try to get some free weights to tone your arms. All you need is muscle tone, so I would concentrate on the weights more than the jogging. Good Luck!
