So for the last 4 weeks I have been dieting and excersing to lose the fat on my stomach. For the first 2 weeks or so I saw a good difference, but then it just stopped, and I still want to lose more.
I have tried before to lose my stomach fat and spent months working on it, and saw no results. Its come to the point were I feel like nothing will help.
Here was my stomach when I started-

I have a problem with bloating, and I think its part of the problem. I have tried things that are suppost to help it, but nothing works. I've tried teas/supplements, and none of it works.

Is there anything else I should do to help get a flat stomach?

My diet is pretty healthy. I dont eat out,I dont drink soda, I eat tons of fruits and vegies, whole grain bread, etc. I eat around 1200 calories a day. And I take a 45 minute walk in the evening, a long with 20 minute workout for my abs 5 times a week.

You need to go see a good Gastroenterologist and have a complete physical workup including colonoscopy and blood work.......

Trine,

Keep doing what you are doing. You are on the right path!

First, supplements and teas do not work. If they have sugar in them they are impeding your progress.

Second, the abs are the HARDEST area to work! They are a large muscle group that just sit there. Keep doing your ab workouts, but add weights, if you can. Nothing heavy, 2 pound dumbbells will suffice.

Third, when you do your cardio, are you sweating? Your heart rate has to be in the aerobic zone for 20 minutes for you to lose fat.

4 weeks is not enough. I didn't look at your links, but I am sure you have made progress. Keep at it, and other people will notice a big change before you will.

Finally, do different exercises to work your upper and lower abs, obliques (sides) and lower back.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Along with your regular work out try adding in 30+ minutes of cardio every workout. My brother in law is a competative body builder and lifts all the time too. But when he`s prepping for a contest and wants to cut fat he adds 2 hours of cardio every day. Most people don`t need that much, but 30-60 minutes on a bike or treadmill after you lift will burn that gut off in no time.

What you should remember is to not eat carbohydrates after 4pm. Try not to eat too much fruit. Don't be fooled thinking that because you are eating fruit that it healthy. Fruit contains a lot of sugar. Too much of anything is bad for you. You might also try drinking green tea after each meal. In order for you to lose more weight from your stomach you would also need to suck your stomach in when running and make sure to breathe correctly. That should work.

When you lose fat, you lose it everywhere, not just in the place you are working. You will lose fat in your upper body first, then in the stomach and thighs. It will take a longer time to lose this fat, and it is only healthy to lose one or two pounds a week.

Yes, if I were you I would do a body cleansing. (Basically, a fast with no solid foods, then take a laxative for one day, drink only water and juice, and then cleanse your liver.)

Research body cleansing. Usually, the 'pooch' belly is caused from a clogged system. You'll see a difference.
