What is the value of a 1978 GMC Suburban?

It has a rebuilt 350 V8, TH350 Tranny, 4WD, air conditioning, it runs/drives great and the exterior/interior is in good condition, the exterior colors is a two toned color of grey and silver.

If it is driven every day for more than 50 miles expect the fuel bill to equal the insurance premium-or more. This will put you in the position of having to pay double for this vehicle within the first year of operation. After 3 years it will cost you a down payment on a modest home. This O'l truck should not be considered for fulltime operation-unless you light your cigars with flaming $100 dollar bills.

I'd expect $2500-$3500. This may have changed but the small blocks were not real desireable in Suburbans when I was looking at them in the '80s. Many ordered big blocks.

I would say around $2000-3000, the old Suburban's are getting rarer as time goes by.

well engine coolant doesn't matter much sometimes the radiator itself has issues. I own a 85 chevy and the radiator had to be replaced 2 years ago. the engine oil should be 10w 40 and for the oil filter look at walmarts extended guard line or equivalent.
