it is sooo tempting to pop pimples even though your not suppoed to i was wondering if i must do this what should i do after...because after i do i use like sylic acid for your face, i just put it on a tissue and hold it on that spot while it stings...is this good or bad to do or is tehre somthing else i shoiuld do?

Reality check: If you have the kind of begging-to-be-popped zit where you can actually see the white stuff just under the surface -- and you've gotta do something about it -- at least do it safely. First, clean the area thoroughly. Then take two sterile gauze pads and gently press on each side of the pimple, using the gauze (not your fingers, and especially not your nails) to apply pressure. If the white stuff can be squeezed out easily, do it. Then use another gauze pad to apply hydrogen peroxide and spread on an antibiotic ointment (like Bacitracin).
Take a warm shower or bath to soften your skin.
Wash your face and remove all makeup.
Wash your hands to prevent spreading germs and infecting the pimple.
Sterilize a needle...(a dirty needle will cause an infection and maybe a bigger pimple).
Gently prick the tip of the pimple with the needle.
Take a clean tissue or piece of toilet paper and wrap it around your index fingers.
Gently apply pressure to the sides of the pimple to ease out the pus. Stop when blood or clear fluid comes out.

You shouldn't pop, I know it is hard, but I would take a hot washcloth afterward, then put on lotion, then a silic acid treatment. The face still needs moisture in lotion form, even with breakouts. Just think, if the skin got slightly dried out from an acne treatment, it would flake. The flakes can get stuck in new forming facial oils, trapping the bacteria, creating pimples - possibly worse than before. So use an oil-free lotion too!!

don't pop a pinple but if u already did, put rubbing alcohol on it, then ice it, dab some toothpaste on, and if u have thsoe small round band aids for pimples, put that on top (whether or not u want to put toothpaste on the pimple)- the band aids help the pimple flatten....good luck!

If you Must, you'll get scars... but, I would dab on alcohol or vinegar, which will sting, but will prevent another zit from forming.
