if you knew that you had a bad addiction, and by haveing ur addiction it will hurt the one u love. is it ok to let the one u love go

i still think of the one i love and the ways i have hurt her and in my dreams i wish i could wipe every ter from her eye did i do the right thing

It sure is OK . People need to be more like you and honest about what they want in life and you set an good example for ones who are scared to let go and be honest . Now they know that it is possible to move on and be OK .

with the intention of protecting her yes, but by letting her go and continue with the addiction also shows that maybe the addiction is more important to you... maybe you should try and fix yourself up whatever the addiction is and try and get her back

yes, until you get over your addiction...they will probably understand that you are just trying to protect them.
