it's a drug in the "penicillins" class, it wont hurt you unless you are allergic to it.

I would switch, I've been on different meds for an infection and Amoxicillin seems to work the best and I did not have any side effects from it. Take it with some food because it might upset your stomach, but I did seem to have any problems.

It is an antibiotic. It will 'kill the infection'. The side effects can be stomach upset (nausea/vomit/diarrhea). If you experience stomach problems, take it with food. There are always the risk of allergic reaction, especially if this is the first time using it. Those are rash, itching, SOB, dizziness/faintness. If you experience this symptoms, call your doctor immediately. You should get a printout from the pharmacy, with the medication that will explain all this.

Amoxicillin is an antiobiotic. It is broad spectrum which means it kills a wide range of infections. It is very well tolerated and doesn't usually cause any bad side effects. Of course, if you were allergic you are looking at a rash, nausea, etc. Not often though.

As long as you're not allergic, there should be no bad side effects. Maybe a little stomachache.

Amox is used for some Head, Ear, & throat infections, and some mild bacterial bronchitis (most bronchitis is viral and would go away on its own anyway, though). The doctor probably gave it to you just in case your bronchitis is bacterial.

In general it is v safe drug with few side effects mostly are well tolerated , Unfortunately resistance to this antibiotic somewhat high , my advice once you start an antibiotic treatment course you should finish it and don't stop unless your doctor ask you to do so

Your medication should have been supplied with an explanitory leaflet inside the box - all medicine by law must contain this. However, if you didn't receive it or it's got lost, here it is online (link below) it answers all your questions (the side effects look a bit scary!)
