does anyone know when the nascar race starts this weekend?

i know nascar.com shows 3:00 and yahoo shows 3:30 but thats just when coverage starts usually. when does the actual race start?

I just checked the guide on the television ,it comes on at noon( I live in California) by the time they do to the pre-show,pray, sing and gentle men start your engines the race itself will probably start at 1p.m. Complete coverage is from noon to 4p.m

Coverage starts at 3:00 eastern time. So the pre race activities usually last atleast 45 min. to 1 hour. So expect the race to start around 3:45 pm eastern time.

if you ever have questions about start times and such, just check out www.nascar.com for the schedules. the site has tons and tons of info and you can figure out the start time by the time zone they're in and the one you're in if the tv guides are different. i always say, when in doubt start checking at the earliest time listed and keep going back till the fun begins!
