If so, how many of your hours do you get on the internet? Is it easier than knocking doors? Do you miss actually going out in Field Service? I would think just doing it on the internet would leave one a little stale. What do you think?

To Forged03: Thank you for your answer. It is the nicest and most non-defensive answer I've gotten from a JW on any question I've asked. Thank you.

I think is funny & hipocrite for them preaching here. There Watchtower company says internet is place for satan to mislead and not be here. In waatchower is excommunicate if disobey leadeers they call faithful slave. but they preach here to disobey faithful slave who says dont go on internet. So JW on Y!A is hypocrite to disobey leaders and be where told not.

Faceless internet preaching is coward way. I do know they report hours spent preaching to made up questions on Y!A, so preaching to made up questions is also llie and hypocrite.

Watchtower says god is truth, but they are distruth when disobey leaders and count hours on made up questions on internet.

Hi, I am not currently a regular pioneer do to health reasons. However I know that if/when I do become one this will in no way be considered the bulk of my Witnessing. This is something I do for a couple of reasons. One is because to post questions you must have points, to obtain points you need to answer questions, to get questions fast you need best answers, to get best answers you should answer about something you know, since I know my beliefs I feel this is a good subject for me to answer on. I do occasionally count an hour or two, if I see my answers were actually read and helpful. Even then I only count an hour or two. I view it as informal Witnessing. Being a Witness is not a 9-5 thing, it should be a 24, 7 thing. So just as I count the time when I informally Witness real world I do when I witness here.

I do appreciate the concern your comment shows. The net is not a place to make friends. Just as there are good and bad people in the real world there are Good and Bad people on line. The difference is it is much easier to hide ones truer nature on the net. Discernment is always needed.

I always appretiate honest, polite feedback on my answers. I try to always answer the questions the way I hope others will answer mine. Horse Sense has some interesting queries and answers almost always love answering/reading them.

Good comments by forge----I also am kinda, sorta, unhealthy!but
I do go in service at least once weekly.Ive been Informal
witnessing for a while now,(on the net)and I too only count a couple
hours here and there.altho I have been at it all day,it seems some-
times.Ive gotten some good feedback, just like in the field Ministry,
and some negative, which is to be expected. The main thing to me
is to not let some of the things you read on this forum stumble you
in any way........

Of course if our health permits field service is our primary way of witnessing. Out there we make a defence for our faith & have the wholesome association of our brothers & sisters too.
Our main goal is to save lives & use any opportunity available to witness.
The internet is an avenue that is good if certain ones aren't able to get out in field service or can't get out as much
I personally don't count any hours if I answer questions but that's just my personal view. Maybe if I couldn't get out in field service and this was my only way of witnessing then I would, but I'd check if it's okay to report it first.
