i like a guy in my class we are both senior, and he is the smartest guy in our class, he is also a quarterback. i ask him questions about the homework, and he explains to me very patiently. later we become good friend and i start to like him. this year he would start a conversation with me, and ask me if we have homework almost every single day, but i think he already knows what homework we have. he is really nice to me,and is willing to listen to me. sometimes he will say hi to me sometimes he just totally ignores me. because he is really popular, he gets along with a lot of the girls. does he like me or he just tries to be nice.

Well, some guys are not that easy to figure out. Especially in High School, they are mostly shy or just show signals that seem way off and just end up confusing you even more in the end. It seems to me that this guy is trying to talk to you to get to know you a bit better. It all depends on the way he talks to you and the way he comes on to you, girls are good at these kind of things... does he know you like him? have you tried sending him signals to see if he "replies" meaning... (flirting)? Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. I use to tell my friends to tell the guy "i think he's cute"... try it out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

He may like you. Or he just likes you as a friend. Tell him how you feel, because if you don't ask you will never know.

If he totally ignores you sometimes, he's either just into your looks...or...he may just be trying to be nice and help you out.

hmmm... this is a VERY confusing situation. Maybe you should ask him if he is into you oir not. I dont know wat I would do..If he ingnores you totally then maybe he is bored with you then but when he sees you, he lights up. I think maybe he is just trying 2 b nice but that is only mi opinon...YA NEVER KNOW! Best of luck!
