what can i get my grampa for a present???
he is REALLY cranky and likes to cook and work.

If he enjoys cooking, get him a gift certificate to some sort of culinary store in your area. And as to working, I don't know what kind of work he does. Does he like to do anything else? Or, you could make him dinner or something nice, maybe he wont be so cranky.

If he likes to cook, buy him a cook book, utensils or something else he can use around the kitchen. He also likes to work, so buy him something he can use in this work, whatever that may be.

over $100 - nice set of knives or CIA(culinary institute of america) Textbook
$50 - $100 - a good saucepan or recipe book.
under $50 - pot holders with his name on them? or a hug?
