Yes, there is some footage of the recovery, but I don't know where to find it. The airplane was a Beech Twin H18. The NTSB report is here:

You might try to find out the name of the newspapers in Madison, Wisconsin. Otis' plane crashed into a lake there .I believe the lake was Mendota ..There was a lot of publicity on this accident. The newspaper archives should have info and pics with a local flavor....

I seem to remember seeing one... The airplane was a V-tailed Beechcraft Bonanza.that crashed in bad weather. Try on-line archives in the Madison WI area newspapers or Google it.
