Why are you so quick to judge?

I have been called a retard, and well read.

I have been called intelligent, and ignorant.

I have been called Christian and an atheist.

I have been told to read the Bible, I have been told that I have good knowledge of the Bible.

I have been called a wide spectrum of things.

I don't believe in a lot of the things most of you believe in, I do think there is a certain amount of ignorance in thinking that you have all of the answers (something I would never claim).

The truth is despite some of the very spiteful things people amy have called me i have love for every person, no matter how they feel about me.

I have love for rapers, satanists, and even Christians. I'd even love someone who doesn't believe in my existance. I don't agree with everyone's actions all the time, but I truly believe in the goodness in all of us, and therefore, i'm not quick to judge.

I've met stupid atheists, intelligent Christians, and everywhere in between.

But why are we so quick....

....so quicj to judge when it's clear that you don't know me. Maybe it's also true you're make rash judgements about Christianity, evolution, Muslims, God, the Universe, creation, infinity.

We can't all be right, but we can all be wrong.

Its all in the eye of the beholder. Best advice is do what lets you sleep at night and take the rest with a grain of salt.

yep so true...i totally agree with what u say. But the ppl who make those type of comments and judge r the ppl who really need some sort of higher power in their belief system.

Excepting that u may not always be correct or have all the answers or even have questions without answers are beyond them. They NEED to be TOLD the answer..even if the answer is false...instead of exploring for the correct answer they would rather except and FIGHT for a falsity.

Its sort of like this quote from Shakespeare, "Me thinks the lady dos protest too much"...meaning usually the false or guilty always cry the loudest, longest and hardest. I think the reason y these ppl that judge so profusely r guilty themselves of what they r judging and really don't believe in the solution they are spouting. That's y they tend to be a little bit louder and fanatical than the norm...they r trying to prove to themselves they r righteous more than they r trying to prove their righteousness to u.

Well, u know what I say to those ppl....if u say long enough and hard enough u just might start to believe it. But as for me I see through your facade and am not impressed at the least-est.

The truth is that everyone wants to feel special. They want to feel closer to God than anyone else. A way to do this is to state in their mind that everyone else is wrong. Therefore " I "am closer to God than you will ever be. They make quotations of prophets in the Bible or Koran or quote a popular philosopher. You are on the correct path. All are unique and are the same. There is no right or wrong. God is Love says the Bible. Break bread with witches, Muslims, Jews, Christians and Atheists if you want to be like God. But don't assume that we can't kill for a good purpose. If someone is so bold as to try to take another persons freedom or life. True love compels us to protect the weak. You can even destroy another human in war and still carry love for them in your heart.

I think this is why its important to have the ability to look at something objectively. Religion by nature makes people biased and judges others. This is why atheists fight back. I am not telling christians they have to live their life a certain way or they are going to hell. Do you see atheists standing on street corners with signs saying gays are going to hell, or marriage is between a man and a woman? Nope only the Religious ones. They are the ones judging you, not the Atheists.

that was all good but this sentence "I have love for rapers, satanists, and even Christians" ...... for a second i thought you meant rapist, and then made it a point to say but i even love christians after that... as if they were harder to love.... but i know you meant rappers (i hope)... anyway tho, not to take away from your point... most people do seem too quick to judge... but just something to think about... i use to think there was goodness in everyone too, but if you take some time to learn about the horrible horrible things people do in this world, you may reevaluate that like i did, if you take the time to learn how children are raped and tortured everyday by sick twisted evil people, you may change your mind on that everyone has some goodness in them thing... or at least question it, i do not know if it is right to love everyone? you have given me a good idea for a good question though "is it right to love everyone?? even those who rape children? even hitler? even serial killers?... anyway i am rambling and did not answer your question at all sorry.... i am not really sure why people judge so quickly, i am sure there are many many reasons, it is a very complicated question, people are too sure of themselves, they have to be right.. ego has a lot to do with it... well anyway your point is still well taken and i appreciate all the love, but i wonder about for everyone

Science doesn't have answers just proves what's wrong. Almost like life huh. Take life as it comes. Some things come and some things go. Always stay positive in what you believe in. Also Truth who really knows what truth is but you.

That is the most intelligent thing I have heard on here ever! Bravo! People are quick to judge becaue it's human nature. We all want to be right, even when we know we are wrong. I'm glad there is someone on here who holds everyone else's life in high regard!

Discernment is a virtue that so many of the less intelligent lack. They choose to submit their intelligence to the irrational beliefs of whatever religious dogma to which they so desperately cling. If I am quick to judge, it is because I grow tired of dictatorship by the uneducated majority and because I am quite intolerant of the intolerant.

Your last statment is exactly why evolution and creation can't co-exist.
Neither can other religions and Christianity exist as all truth.
