How to get my hair looking more like wen its wet?

right im a dude with long hair, to those people who are gonna give me grief... get over it, anyway. Hey just wondering if any1 had any tips about getting my hair to stay more like wen its wet. i have pretty wavy thick hair, but wen its wet it seems to look alot thinner, and heavier. and also, does straightening hair help with thick hair and make it heavier? thnx to answers in advance :)!

it sounds like i have the same hair as you, so ill tell you what i do to keep mine looking wet:
1. first i put in a keep in conditioner because my hair gets frizzy.
2. i put in a inexpensive gell that works really well (i use LA Looks, Party Hard gell, its pink)
3. let it dry a little bit and then straighten it
4. it should be pretty! (or whatever word guys use, haha)

Mousse doesn't always do the trick. Use a good gel and slick down hair come through once and leave it. Stays all day long.

Calming cream and mousse helps.
Sometimes when I am going out for a night I leave in my conditioner, but make sure you brush your hair when it drys and don't stand about in the rain

i dont really like that look on guys, but hey its your hair

wash your hair with a shampoo for dry hair, it will give it more moisture

then try using a good gel or wax

gels might not stay on as long as wax
wax locks in moisture so it stays on 2x as long, but its more expensive

ohh and no straightining it will make it look wispier insted of heavier so dont do it

Use a lot of mousse and calming creme to weigh it down and also try sunsilk anti poof

Grease. To get it thicker, I recomend body shampoo, like Vive. Straitening it won't help at all.
