Holmes would have jabbed him all night. Holmes by decision.

Interesting fight. Holmes realized his potential and is a very underrated champion in my opnion. A lot of that was caused of course of his inability to say the right things to the sportswriters and his opinion that every one was out to get him, thus the chip on his shoulder. He had a great jab and was a very tough fighter. Page never lived up to his full potential and at times appeared to be rather lackadaisial in his fights or uninterested. He had a good jab and a very quick one but carried his hands too low. In this fight for the first 7-8 rounds it would be a battle of the jab with Holmes landing the harder and cleaner shots. When the fight got into the later rounds Holmes would punish the undertrained Page with hard shots and the referee would stop the fight in the 11th round with an exhausted Page hanging on the ropes. Holmes was a lot better than Greg Page.

I think Larry Holmes would defeat Greg Page handily.

Page had some skill and was a big man but not even on the same planet as Holmes who is another underrated boxer.

holmes is one of the greatest boxers of all time.. he beat everybody.. great jab ,hard puncher.. he was just in an era without a lot of solid heavyweights,,, but i feel he could make a case of being the second best heavyweight of all time next to the greatest.. we all know who that is...holmes would of stayed right there with the best heavys of all time...undefeated for 49 fights till he was robbed by that twerp michael spinks..

holmes easily. page's big moment was when he still an amateur and beat frazier in the trials, never lived up to his potential as a pro.
