Royal Canin has been proven the best on the market. You can buy it at any vet's office. Nuetro is also a good brand. That is what I feed my cat, and he has such a healthy coat!

You can get some good healthy guidelines on cat food by going to www.littlebigcat.com and reading Dr. Jean Hovfe's article titled "Selecting a Good Commercial Cat Food". You must educate yourself on reading food labels on cans and bags. More of Dr. Hovfe's articles are "Why Cats Need Canned Food", "Does Dry Food Clean the Teeth?", "What Cats Should Eat".

The safest answer to that question is "Ask your vet." All the rest of these answers are just our opinion and we all have different ones.

Personally, I'd stay away from the poorer quality grocery store brands. If you're going to feed one of them try to stick to a Purina product.

Pet Store foods are normally fairly good. Especially those that are not sold in chain stores or groceries.

You'll probably find some of the best roods in or at a vet clinic.
