i am doing english homework and i need help. i did try myself, but i'm having trouble looking for reference sites. can someone please list a website (or two) that provides info on the following (i've tried wikipedia, but their information is very misleading and false - anyone can make a post):
1)sources that chronicle mark twain's life and times
2)sources that focus on the phsychology and/or intellectual/emotional behavior of adolescence
3)sources that focus on the change in the balance of power in the struggle against dehumanization for freedom, empowerment, and enfranchisement (of any nationality-american or not)
4)quotes that reflect on problems and issues that surround issues of individual integrity and honesty
5)sources that focus on roles of women in 1840s & 1830s
6)sources that discuss the heroic archetype on a journey as portrayed in literature
~thank you - ps - please mark which site is for which topic (u can just put the number by it in parenthesis) =)

First off, Wikipedia has innumerable fact-checkers and editors who voluntarily weed out misinformation, so don't be so quick to discount it as a valid reference. If you have a question about its information, nine times out of ten the article will link to the original publication from which the information was gathered.

As for the question, I can help on numbers 4 and 6.

Berlin's answer was funny, but too true! I remember when I saw The Apprentice last week and they went to Main Place, I said "No one speaks English there" long before the contestants figured it out.

That's a lot of researching on google- you should try wikipedia, they usually have a good list of info plus other links

Forget about it. No one speaks English anymore. I live in Los Angeles and no one around here speaks English.

If I were you, I'd learn to speak Spanish.
