Instead of coming here and sucking the very life out of everything that belongs to our elderly who put that money there for when they get old and to help our own children build a future for themselves?

Because they feel that they have the RIGHT to come here and take anything and everything that they want. Breaking laws is an afterthought. But we can also blame their home countries for this, seems it's big profits to ship off their poor to the US and let American tax payers pay for them. Mean while the illegals are sending American money to their home country's, which benefits that country.
It is always easier to run from problems, instead of facing them head on.

Personally, I do not think that this question is worth answering but, do me a favour, and ask yourself something, Where are your grandparents or great grandparents from? I bet there are a lot of illegal decendants in your history if you look into it! Unless you are a Native American that is! if not, you are a blow-in! Immigration laws did not exist in the USA the time your grandparents or great grandparents arrived.
