good grief, don't you talk to your orthodontist?
Call him/her and ask what they recommend.

The whole idea is that you dont want anything to knock your braces off, so that that means if sugar babies get stuck in your teeth, causing you to aggressively chew, then no dont eat them. If biting into any apple causes you to put your braces in a rough grinding situation, then no dont bite into apples. As my dentist would say, "Use common sense" Dont be afraid, but on the other hand, dont just eat anything unless you would like to have braces for the rest of your life. If you take good care of your braces, you will be back to your sticky and hard foods in no time. Sacrifice a bit now instead of paying for it later.

Ok if you dont wanna have braces for FOUR AND A HALF years dont eat sticky stuff (gum, gummy bears, tootsie rolls, etc) they will cause the bands to loosen up and pull separators out.
No carbonated beverages(juices might be ok-talk to your ortho- but make sure to brush your teeth afterwards).
Doritos, Tortilla shells/chips, cheetos etc - if it makes a crunch when you bite down stay away.
No popcorn.
You can eat fruits but cant bite off of them, cut them in little pieces. Try not to eat hard foods go for softer ones.

I eat whatever I want, even chew gum. Just be careful to not get the food stuck into your braces. Cut up fruits and vegetables, it's so much easier to eat that way and less of it gets stuck in your braces. Try to brush after eating, it feels so nasty with all of that stuff in your mouth.

My orthodontist never told me or gave me a list of what I could or could not eat. I just ate whatever I wanted: gum, popcorn, sticky foods, etc. I had my braces for four and a half years and I never had a problem. Eat what you want!!!!

Your orthodontist should provide you with a list of foods that you should not eat. He or she is the only one familiar enough with your set of braces to know.

You can eat everything you usually do. Just remeber not to bit into anything hard such as corn on the cobb, or an apple. You can still eat this stuff, just cut it into peices, or cut the corn off the cobb. I know its a pain at first, but you'll get used to it.

dont listen to them! if you eat anything hard, sticky or chewy you will have your braces on for longer. There is a reason people have their braces on for 4 years. THEY DONT LISTEN!! Shame on you

it's not a matter of what you can't eat, it's how you eat it. ;) if you chew bubble gum, don't let it get in your brackets, and if it does, get it out.
i had braces a few years ago, and these are some i remember: bubble gum, sugar daddys and sugar babies, popcorn, marshmallows...i know there are some more.
