Have you ever heard the saying, why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?
I know a young woman who has lived with her boyfriend for 5 years. They have 2 children. She's still waiting for him to ask her to marry him. Maybe he never will. Maybe it's a good idea to get married before you start the husband/wife type of relationship that includes sharing a household, sharing bills, parenting, etc.

It's totally up to him... You'd have to wait until he gets the notion that he wants you over, or if you've been dating for more than 4 months from the time you 2 got serious, feel free to ask him (any earlier might creep us out). However, us guys DON'T like to come home one day to find that our answering message has changed and have a U-Haul in our driveway.
In fact, most of us prefer that you don't move in until you walk down the isle, so don't get your hopes up either.

After a year or two of dating would be appropriate so you guys get to know each other better. And can handle being in the same bed everyday!!

The right time is when both of you feel responsible and mature enough to commit to a serious relationship.

it depend on your boyfriend! how mature is he? and it depend on your relationship status, I think you should wait at least about three to four mounth,
