My friend has got the most annoying itch around the top of her legs, where your pants legholes lie. It is much worse at night apparently and sometimes there is a lot of redness and sore areas. Very rarely, there is some discharge too. Its keeping her from sleeping so I said I would ask you nice peeps.
Any clues please.
P.s. she's been to docs and was told it was thrush, but its nowhere near other area just round tops of legs and also discharge is very different to thrush as she's had that before.

I know this sounds stupid but has she recently shaved? Just a thought, if it isn't thrush I dunno mate! How about washing powder/ conditioner. Is she using a different one to what she uses normally?

Aloe vera gel or juice applied on the itching skin, stops the itch and reduces swelling. It also cools the skin.More cheap and natural remedies for itching at the link below.

I have had the same problem. I made an appointment with my gyno and was prescribed Flagyl (generic: Metronidazol). It worked. Tell your friend to ask their doctor about it. :)

SOUNDS LIKE YEAST INFECTION , SHE MAY NEED TO GET SOME ANTIFUNGAL CREAM , LIKE LOTRIMN , MONISTAT ETC.
