Making a chicken dish tonight? Should I coat with Olive oil, butter, or neither and just lay the foil on the baking dish?

You can use either, unless your counting calories. Use the butter if your not interested in calories or fat. Use the Olive Oil if your not interested in the fat and calories. The butter will of course enrich the flavor of the chicken by best. And yes, cover with foil.

ALL! marinate the fish in olive oil for like 5 or 10 minutes with some salt and pepper, herbs u like, garlic. put foil under the chicken, place a pat of butter on the chicken with a few lemon slices. wrap the chicken in the foil and put in the oven! YUM!

Why not try Italian Salad Dressing? It can contain vegetable oil, or olive oil, plus all the other flavorful gooides that are in there!

Out family likes this option the best.

Kinda depends on the dish you are making. Without much info I would go with the butter to get a crispier skin.

olive oil give you better taste than butter
butter is more fatening and not as much flavor as the oil
foil is less fattening obviously so you could use that
OIL is my reccomendation for extra delish flavor
(EVOO - extra virgin olive oil is the best)

u have to cook it in oil o that ur cordon blue become crispy and light brown.. hmm u like german foods

it better to use cooking spray... but if u dont have any then use butter
