It means it works fine the way it is, don't change it, or mend something that is not broken, leave it alone, don't touch it, get the idea

I do not need an amateur electrician/electronics technician to tamper with my computer/mobile phone/satellite dish/satellite receiver/digital TV/DVD recorder/digital camera/washing machine.
