Roman Catholics may choose to eat certain foods according to their tradition. That's up to them.
But in all sincerity, I am not Roman Catholic and am defrosting the Chicken right now. Will prepare Chicken with Rice Soup and will have plenty for both today and tomorrow.
I hope that's OK with everyone. Love to all.

I dont know when or why they changed this, but growing up ( I am Roman Catholic, i went to catholic school for 12 years and I have always attended mass regularly all my life) the only animal allowed to be consumed on Fridays was fish/shrimp. No beef, pork, or poultry was allowed, I still ascribe to this now.

For Catholics following the Church rules, chicken is now allowed. The only flesh allowed is fish.

For those who recognize that RC rules are not biblical, anything goes.

For me, no meat goes.. not in any amount, not from any animal, not at any time. Nothing from animals... no flesh, no dairy, no eggs, honey, gelatin, nuttin'. Why? 'Cause I'm a vegan and lovin' it.

Just think, vegans ingest ZERO cholesterol. How cool is that, eh? :^D

Sure, go ahead, because religion and observances are bogus anyway. Read your Bible, Christ never taught religion and rituals. Not eating meat indeed. Like that will get your sins forgiven, that is a slap in the good Lord's face, just like idols and the Virgin Mary. Sorry, but I hate religion with it's rules and rituals.

No. The Almighty Creator of All That Exists is deeply concerned about whether or not you eat chicken tomorrow.

Negative. Aquatic meat only.

There is one small region in South America that is so lacking in fish that the Capybara, the largest rodent in the world, is permitted on the grounds that it is a predominantly aquatic animal.

Otherwise, no land-dwelling or mammalian flesh (ie: whales wouldn't count either because they're mammalian).

keep the Laws found in your Holy Scriptures and stop following such foolishness!

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the prophecy: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Do you understand that? You are being deceived!
