Mainly you will be doing anything she needs you to do for her....usually it is the maid of honors job to gather all the bridesmaids and plan a bachelorette party if she is going to have one!! During the ceremony you will hold her bouquet at the times she cant (vows, kiss, ETC) anytime that her hands are too busy to hold them herself.

Traditionally, the maid of honor is the bride's "right hand woman." Your job is to help her with, well, darn near everything. Depending on the region, it's also your job to throw her a bridal shower and a bachelorette party.

The best thing you can do is to take over what you can on the big day. No bride or groom wants to be hassled with 50 million last minute details (such as, where is the fancy knife for the cake cutting) so if you can handle stuff like that, you will rock!

Being a Maid of honor is an important role. The best thing you can do for the bride is to be there for her whenever she needs you. Be there for all the planning and shopping and arranging take care of anything the bride can't handle and be a sholder to lean on. Your mom will be there for you when your day comes. Its nice you can be a special part of her day. have fun it goes by so quick.

I consider you on highly a lot each little thing. besides the undeniable fact that, I merely have by no potential understood the completed "it is your wedding ceremony, do what you opt for" ingredient at the same time as it contains different extra outrageous techniques i have considered the following and in individual. Many brides as we talk are lower than the false impression that custom should be thoroughly thrown out the window and etiquette is something of the previous because they opt for to be distinct and make their wedding ceremony as memorable as conceivable. it truly is all properly and sturdy, yet this isn't an episode of My tremendous sweet 16. matters are for activities. no longer weddings. i have considered distinctive brides who purely stressful about what THEY needed and it left their travelers frowning all day. If a number of those brides as we talk heard the quite some issues human beings actual considered those "new age" weddings, they could destroy out into tears. sure, the marriage day is all about the bride, yet some guidelines do want to be observed each once in a lengthy time period. Grandma would not opt for to confirm the bridesmaids dancing down the aisle, human beings!

Throw her a bacholerette party and sometimes maids of honor throw the bridal shower. I would ask her if there is anything specific she needs help with that you can do. Other than that, just buy your dress, go to fittings and rehearsal dinners, and have fun!

Be prepared to do some running around and playing an active part in the preparations. Thowing her a bachelorette party and/or bridal shower. Be ready for bridal fairs if she wants to go.

Basically you will be the person to help your mum keep things in order on the day so she doesn't have to worry and can enjoy her wedding.

Ask the bride :)

I don't have any plans for my MOH except for keeping me sane before the wedding and making sure I eat and drink (water).
