Can someone tell me about their athlete's foot experience and how they cured it. I have heard soaking feet in vinegar daily might help. Let me know of any remedies or CHEAP over the counter products that work.

Vinegar does kill certain kind of fungus, and I don't think it would hurt your foot - - but the best CHEAP thing I have found is a generic brand foot spray with Tolnaftate 1% antifungal. Many drug stores have it in their "house brand" and it's the same stuff as the much more expensive brand. You can be looking at a price difference of $10 for the brand name and $3 for the store's generic.

Have to keep at it, and be sure to keep you feet dry.

Good luck

yes vinegar and salt water help´s , I have had this many time´s can happen to anyone so don´t worry .Just rather painful and if you don´t treat it right it will take even longer to cure, So I will tell you how I treated my athlete foot problem. washed my feet in vinegar and salt 2 times through the day & before going to bed , when you can give lost of fresh air to your feet, if it was summer time you could wear leather open sandle´s. you will have to go to the chemist and buy a spray for this as other homemade remedies never worked, so as long as you use the spray keep your feet clean with fresh cotton socks you should get rid off it with in 2 week´s

I own my own business and make all my products by hand with natural based ingredients. I specialize in problem skin. I have products for this and if you want, you can send me an email and I'll send you a sample. If you need immediate relief go to your health food store and get a product called Tea Tree Oil. Apply it your feet. You can also blend the tea tree oil with some Lavender essential oil to help as well. To really get rid of the underlying affect and cause of it, try my products.

its gross, but a lot of college athletes will pee on their feet in the shower. theres something in it that kills the bacteria (it will also stop the sting of a jellyfish burn).

i've never done that, being as its pretty gross (and i've never had athletes foot). but, its supposed to work really well, fast results and relief. your call buddy. lol.

also, a lot of athletes will wear flip flops in the shower, so that they're not standing right in the stuff that has been rinsed off them (or anyone else). good luck.

A bottle of Tea Tree Oil costs about $12.
Use it every night on your clean, dry feet, then cover with white socks, leaving on overnight.
It will heal your feet, and whatever oil is left can be used on slight burns, cuts, razor burn, etc.
Great stuff.
Good luck.
