Hi

Most places in Cornwall are less than an hours drive from Hayle. If the weather is good there are a few beaches in St Ives but they will be busy, Newquay is excellent (but watch the tides). There is Lands End, you can just pay for parking and wander round if you like as opposed to paying a fortune for the exhibitions. The Lizard is nice, and quieter than Landss End too. There are also some play parks too. Looks like you may need two weeks, hee hee hee!!

Polperro is really pretty, as is Clovelly but that may be a bit too far to drive.

Enjoy your break.

Dean

Have a meal in a Meadery, The kids'll love it and so will you!
There's not a lot in Hayle, but St Ives is very close.
Lot's of lovely coastal walks, Gwithian and Hells Mouth is just the other side of Hayle Towans.

Hayle has a wonderful beach but not a lot else there, you will need your car, but you can reach a number of places well within an hours drive.

in hayle you have a 3 mile long beach, absolutely gorgeous for walking along, also you have paradise park. In helston (30 mins drive) you flambards theme park. this has rides for children of all ages and complete undercover village in a victorian theme, really takes you back in time. Hope this gives you some ideas.
