I am not one to obsess about the "end times". However, I see major war around the globe very soon with the progressive escalation of the Iran nuclear crisis. What are your thoughts?

i believe that there will be another World War. Someone has to stop Iran with their Nuclear Program and I believe it may be Israel. Then they will start a small war and we will have to help out Israel and the treaty's begin. The war will be horrible because of the Nuclear part this time around.
**Really anytime in the future, it could happen today. Someone just has to make a simple call and its started.

world war 3 will come. it'll be a war never seen before because there are only two possiibilities.
1. a war between the "western wold" (america, europa and some asian states) and the islamic countries.
the most likely cause will be oil and the nukes that some of these states will get. maybe it'll start with an attack upon the iran and their response aiming at israel. israel, in the faced with a struggle for survival, will perhaps nuke the iran and then the nato is at war ( they aint gonna drop israel).
the islamic nations join in on the iranian side and ww3 has begun.
2. a war between the rising giant china and russia. they'll be fighting for the vast resources in siberia.
russia has them, everyone wants them.

I doubt it.....Iran will push the envelope, but when it comes right down to it nobody wants to really mess with us. China may bluff some, but when it comes down to it, we are their biggest customer and without us their economy would collapase.....all we would have to do is threaten 'REAL' trade sanctions.
After the Gulf War a Russian military advisor stated that "I am very glad that we did not try to engage in a War with US forces in Europe." "A conventional war would have resulted in the absolute destruction of any army groups sent into the west".
The last thing he said was that the US military was "like having an exceptionally vicious dog on a leash.......within the arc of the leash he is invincible...........and a leash can be a temporary thing".

We are already in a world war. The only problem is our "allies" are asleep at the switch. Iran, China, North Korea, Russia, Cuba and Venezuela are our enemies. Make no mistake about it. Unless we wake up and soon, the US will cease to exist.

I think when Bush invades Iraq that it will begin the early stages of WW3.

anything is possible and it wouldn't surprise me at all if we did end up in a world war..some people think we are already in one.
