how long will have period back and how long it will finish period? some of female told me 1 month, or 6 weeks, or so. what's your? :) im first time with this pregnancy just wondering. thanks!

I bleed for four days after my daughter was born...I was breast feeding and it was pretty heavy. Then after I did number two for the st time I bleed for another ten days...like it just took a break. I was done by week post partum

The bleeding you get after giving birth is not your period it is your body flushing out all the extra stuff left behind by th e baby and generally lasts for 6 weeks. Although mine didnt it lasted about 2 weeks.
After that initial bled you can get your periods either straight away or not for months. If you breastfeed than your less likely to get your period back straight away. I didnt get my period back until my daughters were 18 months old. So if you breasfeed and dont get your period for a while dont freak out its normal. Also if you do get it back in a few months its normal as well. Everyones bodies are different.

If you're not breastfeeding, you'll typically get your period in about 6 wks, but i could be as early as 4 or as late as 8-10. If you are breastfeeding, it could be a year before you have a period. You will bleed after the birth, though... typically for about 4-6 wks in a normal vag delivery.

I am a mother of 4 on my husbands name so dont get freaked..lol...your period will last 6wks..but of course all women are different u can talk to ur dr. but the average is 6 wks.

mine was about 6 weeks. Very heavy at the start. Congrats on your new baby!

it normally last up 6 weeks my sister had hes for 3 when she had my nephew it depends on the body congrats
