You are absolutely right. It is obvious that we are not from monkeys, otherwise we would be just like them. I always point out that no one's throwing poop around and therefore evolution is a complete sham, but some evolutionists are just so single-minded they will not see the obvious.

We don't "come" from monkeys, we share a common ancestor.
You know it is waste of time answering this question, becasue whatever answer you recieve, you will NOT do you homework on it. Monkeys, monkeys, monkeys, how about gorilla's, how about a common ancestor of them? How about survival of the fittest, how about evolution, do you even understand your own question? Have you ever read Charles Darwin's book, theory of evolution? Have you ever read the bible? DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Stop asking questions that makes no sense or questions you have heard others ask to disprove this subject. This is their favorite comeback! If we came from monkeys them how come there are still monkeys around. This question is the ultimate of ignorance sorry! DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Evolution is the only real answer to anything..... or you can just take the easy way out and believe in fairytales, bible anyone?

You could say that this is the evolution that has evolved from the monkeys. Instead of excrement we throw fear, hate, and the like.
Of course I don't agree with this but that's what the "Theory of Evolution" would logically dictate.

It seems this question might have been a bit too profound for some. Most people think you're rejecting evolution.

And, now that you mention it, that's not a bad comparison.

We don't "come" from monkeys, we share a common ancestor.
But of course if it's religion and fairy tales you are interested in, drop the biology class, it's a waste of time.

I as a Catholic respect other peoples beliefs and respect the fact that they think we came from apes/monkeys w/e. But for me, I believe that we came from Adam and Eve.

Man... my mom is a social worker. She has clients that throw crap, eat crap, smear it on walls, etc... Believe me, that trait isn't fully out of us yet.

Read. For the sake of all that you hold holy and sacred, read. Read lots of things and read them several times. Start with McInerny's "Being Logical."
