Look in the phone book for a (vet) number to call and tell them about what's going on, and then bring your cat to the vet and get it checked out.

we need more info then that what exactly is going on? for how long? those kind of things. Id say call a vet on the phone and ask thats your best bet.

put that cat soaking in a nice warm bath with bubbles
hold him under his chest so he can't scratch you

i think you are talking about fleas just use dawn dish soap and make sure to clean your house or you will get fleas
