AT ITS height, the Roman Empire was the greatest human administration the world had ever seen. Roman legislation was so effective that it is still the basis of the legal code of many countries. Despite Rome’s achievements, however, her legions were unable to conquer one insidious enemy: corruption. Finally, corruption hastened Rome’s down fall.
If you see this, then you must know that man's governments will always follow this coarse, because man was not created to rule himself.See Jeremiah 10:23,
James 4:1-4 makes it very plain how God feels about this world we live in and its wars?
Being no part of the world?
(John 17:13-14) 13 But now I am coming to you, and I am speaking these things in the world in order that they may have my joy in themselves to the full. 14 I have given your word to them, but the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.

True followers of Jesus take no part in world activities and are completely neutral as to politics and military service. Along with this they obey all the the laws of the land as long as those laws do not conflict with God's laws. They also pay all taxes due from them, They don't cheat!
(1 John 5:19) 19 We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.
(Ecclesiastes 8:12-13) 12 Although a sinner may be doing bad a hundred times and continuing a long time as he pleases, yet I am also aware that it will turn out well with those fearing the [true] God, because they were in fear of him. 13 But it will not turn out well at all with the wicked one, neither will he prolong his days that are like a shadow, because he is not in fear of God.. . .

To fear the true God requires that we learn about him and his son and God's purpose for the earth?
For example Mathew 6:9,10
Don't just read it, but discern what it says? See Pslams83;18, Daniel 2:44, and Revelation 21:3,4 and thats just part! To survive this world and to have an oppertunity for everlasting life, it requires effort on our part to search the scriptures and apply them in our lives. But what Grand blessing we will recieve?

I am sorry I don't have an actual verse from the bible, but I am a christian and according to my religion the world will be over run by the sons of the lamanites if we are unrighteous. And although everyone else is sinning if we don't sin and persevere to the end we will be saved.

I don't know what the Bible says about corruption other than the teachings of Jesus which were to be honest. That being, of course, so as to preserv e personal integrity. Someone of personal integrity would never practise corruption as they would destroy their own personal integrity - a hard-earned prize that needs protecting.

My estimate would that the focus should be on our own lives - to live with integrity and allow the outer universe to unfold accordingly. we don't have control over others or their actions - only our own.

I hope this helps.

The Bible is not the Word of God according to the Bible. Jesus is the Word of God according to the Gospel of John.
